The 2nd ASEAN Plus Three Junior Science Odyssey (APT-JSO) was hosted by the ROK in Busan from 24 June until 1 July 2013 (8 days). The event was hosted by ASEAN+3 Center for the Gifted in Science (ACGS) and Korea Science Academy (KSA), and supported by Ministry of Education Science and Technology Korea, Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity (KOFAC), Society of International Gifted in Science, Korea, and the ASEAN Secretariat.

Purpose:

  1. Encourage and challenge gifted science students to excel in the field of Science and Technology.
  2. Stimulate students’ intellectual curiosity through various experiences and experiments.
  3. Foster friendship and networking among gifted students in the APT region.
  4. Motivate students to pursue careers in Science and Technology.
