8th ASEAN Plus Three Junior Science Odyssey (APT JSO-8): The Role of Youth in Communicating Science for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Regions

The ASEAN Plus Three Junior Science Odyssey (APT JSO) has been established by the ASEAN+3 Center for the Gifted in Science (ACGS), the Republic of Korea. The APT JSO aims to encourage gifted middle high-school students in ASEAN member countries, China, Korea and Japan to develop their knowledge and potential skills in Science. This event also has the objectives to stimulate students to share their experiences, to extend their friendships and enlarge their network among each other and to give an inspiration for pursuing their future careers in science and technology area.

In year 2019, the National Science Museum Thailand (NSM), Ministry of Science and Technology Thailand, as the representative of Thailand, hosted of the 8th ASEAN Plus Three Junior Science Odyssey (APT JSO-8), in from 9th to 15th June 2019 at the National Science Museum Thailand, Pathum Thani province, Thailand, in the theme of “The Role of Youth in Communicating Science for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Regions”.
