AHMM+3

Immediately following the 7^th ASEAN Health Ministers Meeting (AHMM), ASEAN Health Ministers met with counterparts from the People’s Republic of China, Japan and the Republic of Korea on 23 April 2004 and had a very productive exchange of views on future avenues for ASEAN+3 collaboration on health. This was the first ever ASEAN+3 Health Ministers Meeting, following the decision of the 6^th ASEAN Health Ministers Meeting in March 2002 that "ASEAN health cooperation would benefit from stronger cooperation with China, Japan and the ROK."
