From September 8th – 11th, 2015, the 11th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Social Welfare and Development (SOMSWD) and related events were organized in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The day before, the 10th ASEAN GO – NGO Forum on Social Welfare and Development was held with the theme “Empowering Older Persons in ASEAN”.
The SOMSWD+3 with three partner nations including Japan, Korea and China was held in order to assess the cooperation in recent years, and discuss on collaboration plans for the implementation of projects and social welfare and development activities in the forthcoming time.
