The ASEAN Plus Three Senior Officials’ Meeting took place today in Vientiane with the participation of all APT countries’ Senior Officials or their representatives and the Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political-Security Community. Timor-Leste attended the meeting as Observer. The meeting reviewed progress in the implementation of the APT Cooperation Work Plan (2023-2027) and future direction of the cooperation. They also discussed preparations for the 25th APT Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in July and the 27th APT Summit in October.
