The 35th SEAMEO High Officials Meeting (SEAMEO HOM) was held in Bangkok, Thailand from 27th to 29th November 2012. This meeting is held back-to-back with the 7th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Education (ASEAN SOM-ED) and the 3rd ASEAN Plus Three Senior Officials Meeting on Education (SOM-ED+3).
Issues discussed at the SEAMEO HOM, ASEAN SOM-ED and ASEAN SOM-ED+3 Meetings include the Proposal on the Mathematics Regional Wide Assessment (MaRWA) for Students, the Development of the Detailed Design for SEAMEO College, the SEAMEO Database on Education, the implementation of the ASEAN 5-Year Work Plan on Education (2011-2015), updates of the activities/projects following the 7th ASED on 4th July in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and the proposal to set up a new working group of the APT EMM and its terms of reference to strengthen cooperation and links among the ASEAN Plus Three countries on the Plan of Action in the area of quality assurance.
